Welcome to our Website

The Lakeland Composers are a group of active composers, dedicated to writing and performing new works. Based in the north west of England, the group organise regular performances of their own and others' music.

The group's works collectively comprise a range of styles and approaches to composition. Pieces are written for solo instruments and solo voice, choir, ensembles and orchestra.

Each member of the group is an accomplished writer and performer of serious music. This website offers information about each of the composers and their works, together with details of upcoming performances.
